Canmore Golf & Curling Club received notice that it will host the Alberta Ladies Amateur in 2011. The popular site was also recently voted “Best Deck in Canmore” by The Canmore Leader, as a popular afternoon spot to grab a local brew. Director of Golf Darren Cooke suggests Big Rock Lime Beer – a Calgary favorite – at sunset.

Visitors to Canmore Golf & Curling Club will be delighted at new happenings on the course: the club received a $100,000 grant for golf course improvements as part of the Community Facility Enhancement Program. The project has begun with development of a fourth set of tees on holes 3, 11, 14 and 17. Take a look, play a round, and visit the pro shop, where select apparel is now 50% off.
