Next week, the golf courses of the Canadian Rockies will be showcased on a worldwide stage as a featured destination on CNN International’s “Elite Escapes” series. Airing Sept. 2 during The World Right Now, the week-long special highlights destinations that inspire visitors with their luxurious amenities, remote locations and breathtaking experiences.

Taking viewers on a golf excursion from the “Castle in the Rockies” at The Fairmont Banff Springs, down the Bow River into Canmore – some of Canada’s best courses will be introduced to viewers across the globe. Other activities around Banff and Canmore will complement the piece, providing a well-rounded picture of how to make the most of a golf getaway to the Canadian Rockies.

Other experiences featured on “Elite Escapes” include touring vineyards in Florence, Italy, dining with acclaimed chefs in Tokyo, Japan and vacationing on the secluded island of Sumba, Indonesia.

The television programming will also be supplemented by an “Elite Escapes” microsite; which will feature additional video footage, destination information and related articles.
