If our first dusting of snow is an indication of summer’s end, we have officially moved into fall. But autumn does not signal the end of the golf season in the Canadian Rockies.

Before we put the 2014 season in the books, several courses are offering deals for golfers who want to fit in a few more precious rounds before winter. For many Albertans, fall is an ideal time to play a Canadian Rockies Golf course. Vibrant changes in the colors of the trees around each green, snow-capped mountains in the background and crisp air fill the lungs to make for an invigorating golf experience.

So take a look at the select deals below and take advantage of the many offerings available as we embrace the fall season!

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge: Beginning Sept. 29, golfers play 18 holes for $99, including cart, and also receive a $20 shopping credit at the golf shop. Shotgun starts begin at 11 a.m. daily.

The Fairmont Banff Springs: Beginning Oct. 1, 18-hole green fees are $184 with daily specials offering prices as low as $110. The 9-hole Tunnel Mountain course is free for junior golfers and $77 per round for adults.

Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club: Beginning Sept. 27, weekend golfers net significant savings with green fees of $149 (Thursday-Sunday). A rate of $119 is available the rest of the week.

Canmore Golf & Curling Club: Beginning Oct. 1, golfers can take advantage of $55 green fees with golf cart rental optional (also at a discounted rate). Huge savings on golf gear are available at the pro shop as well.
