Canadian Rockies Courses Open May 2 for Spring Golf
With the Masters teeing off next week and the imminent advent of spring, you can feel it in the air – golf season will soon start here.

Director of Golf Gregg Lown at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge captured the anticipation well.
“Winter isn’t quite gone until you can play that first round of the season,” he said. “Opening Day is something I’ve been looking forward to for a while now.”
Season-opening dates for the course in the Canadian Rockies Golf consortia are as follows.
May 2: Canmore Golf & Curling Club (practice range open now)
May 3: The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Course
May 7: Tunnel Golf Course at The Fairmont Banff Springs
May 9: Stanley Thompson Golf Course at The Fairmont Banff Springs
May 14: Stewart Creek Golf & Country Club
May 15: Silvertip Resort Golf Course
Closed until further notice: Kananaskis Country Golf Course
